ASMED is not an insurance company nor do we pay claims. ASMED performs the processing services of the medical bills and coordinates the repricing of the claims together with negotiating out-of-network billing. By choosing an ASMED provider, you can also reduce your out-of-pocket expenses.
ASMED HEALTH is a group of physicians and hospitals who have agreed to receive a discount in exchange for increased patient volume. By joining ASMED, a provider will have the ability to have the volume of patients to sustain and enhance their practice.
A patient will not be balance billed for any of the discounts taken. This does not include deductibles, co-insurance, non-covered benefits or co-pays.
